FFL Receives 2024 Impact Award

We are so deeply honored to receive the 2024 Impact Award from the Maine Grocers & Food Producers Association. At Fork Food Lab, our mission has always been to support and empower food entrepreneurs in Maine, providing them with the space, resources, and community they need to thrive. This recognition affirms the collective efforts to make the food landscape in Maine more inclusive, accessible, and sustainable.
 

Our commitment to fostering a collaborative environment where food entrepreneurs can grow their businesses is at the heart of everything we do. From shared kitchen space to mentorship and networking opportunities, we believe that building a strong, supportive community is an essential ingredient to success.

The ripple effect of this community-centered approach extends far beyond the our walls. Many of our members source fresh ingredients directly from Maine’s farmers, and we continue to expand upon this through programming such as the collaborative buying program and the Second Harvest Partnership. These partnerships and initiatives not only strengthen the local food supply chain, but also help create a sustainable, mutually beneficial ecosystem that uplifts both small producers and the agricultural sector.

As our members grow and flourish, they bring new jobs, local products, and opportunities into the economy, all while reinforcing Maine’s long agricultural heritage as well as supporting its bright future.
